Can I use Instant Messenger with SurfBest? back to top
Yes. You can use Instant Messenger (IM) programs with SurfBest. However, SurfBest does not have its own IM program. You can utilize any of the popular instant messaging programs, including, but not limited to, AOL Instant Messenger, Yahoo Instant Messenger, ICQ, and MSN Messenger.

How do I sign up SurfBest? back to top
Just visit our Home page, choose a payment plan, enter your billing information, and your account will be activated. Alternatively, you can always call us @ 281.675.7397 to activate your account. 



Can I use my SurfBest account while traveling? back to top
Yes, we have the largest network of access numbers in the USA so, you can freely roam across the continental US and chances are, we will have an access number where ever you may be.



Do I need to download software to access SurfBest? back to top
Although it is not necessary, we recommended that you use our setup utility as it configures your email and connection for you. However, if you prefer, you can create your own connection and set up your email manually. To assist you, we have listed instructions in our Technical Support Section that will show you exactly how to get connected to SurfBest.

No, we focus our energy on offering the highest quality dial up internet service at the best possible price.

It is common for ISP's in certain areas to share access points.



Why does SurfBest have multiple networks? back to top
Having so many networks gives us great reliability and a very broad range of access numbers all over the country. SurfBest uses many networks, sort of like AT&T, MCI and Sprint. We call our networks SFB1, SFB2... Members can use any access number on the network that they are on, meaning that if you're on SFB1, you can use any SFB1 access number. If you want to
change or try out another network, just let us know. You can check out the access numbers on our web site, at this address: numbers.php
You can test another network for three days at no additional charge. The change to another network is very easy and never changes your e-mail address.

How do I cancel my previous ISP? back to top
SurfBest cannot cancel your account with your previous ISP, it is your responsibility to do so. Listed below are some hard to find phone numbers to cancel service for other ISPs.
